Current Lot Pair of Flemish Historical Tapestries Probably Brussels, Last Half 17th Century Each woven in wool and silk; the foreground of the first, depicting a Roman general and a courtly lady in a formal garden scene with a central concentric hedgerow area in which a gladiator is fighting a centaur; the second, depicting Roman soldiers and courtly ladies in a similar setting. Each with scattered separations; borders probably of a later period. Each approximately: 100 x 90 in (254 x 229 cm)
