A) One page with four-bar musical quotation from an aria of La morte di Pierrot: 'O bello Colombino getto un fiore bianco con un bacio languido o Pierrot che t'amo...'. B) One page with musical quotation from a Preludio. Also enclosed is a signed autograph letter written on an illustrated greeting card and starting with 'Caro Dom[enico]', in which Menotti remarks that although he was pleased to listen to the variations for quartetto, these were plenty of error and 'Dio sa che pasticcio deve essere saltoto fuori quondo voi l'avete suonato.
