The pictur e has been applied onto a passepartout. Also enclosed is a paper fragment bearing a few autograph notes, "La fanciulla del West - The Girl of the Golden West'; a signed autograph dedication on an incomplete photograph (the background behind Puccini's face has been cut out) : 'Alla Lea, alla cornacchia, al pittore.
